Freshman Preview is a spring break adventure for first-year students at Arcadia University. Arcadia faculty and staff mentors accompany the students on Preview. During its inaugural year in 1994 there were 140 student participants; in 2013, nearly 400 students went on Preview. Depending on the preview that you choose, you could earn two credits for course work completed before, during and after spring break.

Preview offers students an opportunity to visit a major world capital. The program is designed to be fun and educational. Students visit historic sites, cathedrals, museums, neighborhoods, and more. There is also plenty of free time where students can explore till they drop! Students even get a chance to explore nightlife with advice from students studying abroad.

Why does Arcadia offer such an incredible opportunity? We want each student to get psyched about study abroad. That's why Preview participants get the chance to meet students who are studying abroad and the staff of Arcadia's College of Global Studies, which sponsors and organizes study abroad programs for more than 2,000 students annually. Bonding with faculty, staff and students outside the traditional classroom is one of the many pluses.

All that's needed for the trip is a passport, some spending money and a sense of adventure! As one participant said, "Go and do everything! Don't sleep; you can do that when you get home."
