Housing and Study Abroad

The opportunity to study abroad or away is a hallmark of Arcadia University. Therefore, Residence and Commuter Life works closely with students who decide to study abroad or away to ensure that they have a housing assignment that is desirable and meets their needs upon their return.

Students who wish to study abroad in the fall should pay a housing deposit via the Arcadia University Online Housing Portal. This will reserve their space for the following spring. Via the Housing Portal, students abroad will have the opportunity to search for roommates and identify a housing assignment. If the student does not identify a space, the student will be randomly assigned based upon their preferences indicated via the portal and space available.

Students who are abroad or away during the spring who desire to live in housing the coming fall proceed through the Housing Selection process with all other students. As Housing Selection is an online process, students in any location are able to fully participate.
