Add Your Study Abroad Story
Study abroad is an exceptional way for students to get to know themselves—learning to live independently in new environments, using new communication skills, and spending a little time on introspection. It’s also a firsthand lesson in multiculturalism. Let us know what you learned, and how it impacted your life and career.Submit your writings, photos, video and audio clips electronically by using our online form.
Alumni may also submit materials by mail on CD or DVD. Alumni should contact Alumni Relations at alumni@arcadia.edu or 215-572-2160 with questions. Current students may drop off materials at the University Relations office. Contact Purnell Cropper at cropperp@arcadia.edu with questions.
Submission Guidelines
- Write about your study abroad experience, and make sure to describe the impact it has had on your life. Writings should be no longer than 1,000 words. You may copy and paste text into a section on our online form or attach Word or RTF format file.
- Submit photos that show your experience and tell your story. Choose an image(s) that literally says where you were through signage or landmarks. Please send us your image(s) at highest resolution possible, preferably in JPEG format.
- Videos should be no longer than 3 minutes or 60 MBs in size. Acceptable formats are AVI, DV or MOV files.
- Audio clips should be under 3 mintes in length. Acceptable formats are MP3, WAV or RA.
