Jansen Named Resident Director in South Africa

Dr. Alan Jansen has been named Resident Director for Arcadia programs in South Africa, effective Jan. 1, announced Dr. Nicolette DeVille Christensen, Vice President for The College of Global Studies.

Jansen is a native and resident of Cape Town who knows both U.S. and South African higher education, having done post-graduate study in both systems. Initially trained and pursuing a career in mechanical engineering in South Africa, his developing interests in education and psychology led to further undergraduate and then post-graduate studies in these fields. He holds a Ph.D. from the University of Cape Town and was a research fellow at Yale University. Read more.
