Alumni Scoop 600 Cups of Ice Cream for Class of 2014

The Alumni Association served up more than 600 cups of ice cream as alumni hosted the Class of 2014 Ice Cream Social for new students on Monday, Aug. 30.

Alumni Babs Krug ’68, Chuck Lentz ’03M, Natalie Harris ’08, Grace Wainwright ’10 and current student Damian Van Hart ’11 did the scooping.

The Ice Cream Social for Class of 2014, part of Orientation activities, was held at Blankley Alumni House.

“Alumni enjoyed returning to campus to greet the first-year students and OLs and scoop ice cream,” said Georgene Pilling ’04M, Director of Alumni Relations, who notes that the next thing on the menu is Alumni Celebrity Grillers at soccer and field hockey games this fall. Katey Casella, Asstistant Director of Alumni Relations, adds, “It was fun to connect with members of the Class of 2014. I’m excited to get involved with their class activities and hope they will stop  by Blankley Alumni House often to say, ‘Hi.'”
