Misher ’88 Juries First Annual New Hope Artisan Show

Karen Misher ’88, Associate Professor of Art and Design, will serve as a Juror for the first annual fine contemporary artisan show, m a d e, which will take place Oct. 8-30 in New Hope, Pa. Open to all artisans working in glass, metal, jewelry, fiber, paper and ceramics, it provides an artist the opportunity to show and sell innovative and non-traditional works.

In addition to earning a B.F.A. in Printmaking and Graphic Design from Arcadia, she holds a post-baccalaureate certificate in Metalsmithing and an M.F.A. in Sculpture from the University of the Arts. In her position as juror, Misher will consider works based on artistic excellence and aesthetic vision. A prize will be awarded for each medium.
