The College of Global Studies at Arcadia University is pleased to announce the launch of a new study abroad program with RMIT University in Melbourne, Australia. This exciting new development brings U.S. students the opportunity to study at a global university that has a strong focus on technology and design and is equipped with new generation technology and facilities.

RMIT’s international reputation for excellence in practical education and outcome-oriented research will attract students with a variety of interests. The 2012 Quacquarelli Symons (QS) ranked RMIT in the world’s top 100 universities in Communication and Media studies, Computer Science and Information Systems, Pharmacy and Pharmacology studies, Engineering (Civil and Structural), and Accounting and Finance.

Course options through Arcadia include creative media, computer science and IT, engineering, business, environmental science, and media and communications. Students interested in environmental engineering may also specialize in urban systems.

In addition, RMIT course offerings in Australian and Indigenous studies provide a strong background in Australian culture and history. RMIT’s academic strengths and emphasis on practical application, coupled with innovative learning opportunities outside the classroom through Arcadia’s  Co-curricular Learning Certificate (CLC) make for a solid experience for students.

Fall or spring semester options offer 16 credits, and 32 credits are offered for the academic year. The application deadline is March 15 for fall semester or U.S. academic year programs.
