The Arcadia University Field Hockey team was named a 2012 Gladiator by SGI/NFHCA Division III National Academic Team Award winner on March 5 by the National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA). In addition, 12 Knights were named to the 2012 Gladiator by SGI/NFHCA Division III National Academic Squad.

The National Academic Team Award recognizes those institutions that have achieved a team GPA of 3.0 or higher during the first semester of the 2012-13 academic year. The National Academic Squad recognizes those student-athletes who have achieved a cumulative GPA of 3.30 or higher through the first semester of the 2012-13 academic year.
