Women’s Soccer Adds New Member to Coaching Staff

Arcadia University’s women’s soccer team is proud to announce the hiring of new assistant coach, Nicole Brownell, to the staff. Brownell was a standout midfielder at Division I Lafayette College.

While at Lafayette, Nicole achieved tremendous growth and success and played a major role in turning the women’s soccer program at Lafeyette into a divisional contender.

A former high school star for Rancocas Valley in New Jersey, Brownell was a captain and four-year starter earning, 1st Team All-Burlington County, All-South Jersey, and All-State honors.

Brownell majored in Neuroscience at Lafayette, serving her internship with renowned sports psychologist Dr. Jarrod Spencer. She also volunteered in Nicaragua for Soccer Without Borders, an experience she plans to continue.

In addition to her commitment to Arcadia’s women’s soccer program, she will be coaching and training at PDA South. Brownell currently resides in Mount Laurel, N.J., with her family.
