Scarlet & Grey Day Welcomes Incoming Students

Last Saturday’s Scarlet and Grey Day brought 450 admitted students and their families to campus to take sample classes, attend academic seminars, and learn what it means to be a Knight. Under plentiful sunshine, admitted students enjoyed lawn games and Philadelphia-area food while meeting with current students, faculty, and staff.

Lindsay Bechtold, an accepted student from Solanco High School in Quarryville, Pa., toured residence halls and attended seminars for global studies and undeclared majors. She has her eyes set on Arcadia’s Preview program and loves the University’s close proximity and accessibility to Philadelphia.

At the club and activities fair in the Commons, current students strummed ukuleles and juggled while a D.J. spun for those on Haber Green. Attendees also searched campus for great locations to take selfies using a selfie stick.

Throughout the day, dance performances by Knight Club and Puro Ritmo captured the crowd’s attention.
