By Christopher Sarachilli | December 1, 2015

Jim Warner, adjunct professor of English, interviewed author Marlon James earlier last week on Warner’s podcast, Citizen Lit. James’ novel A Brief History of Seven Killings, a decades-spanning epic that explores a failed assassination attempt on Bob Marley and the tumultuous years in Jamaica that followed, was named the 2015 recipient of the Man Booker Prize in October. The prize, one of the most prestigious in literature, has previously been awarded to renowned authors such as Margaret Atwood and Salman Rushdie.
