Arcadia University and the Montgomery County Bomb Squad hosted a booby-trap awareness training for the West Chester SWAT team at the University’s campus Crime Scene House on Feb. 21. Members of the West Chester SWAT team went through the house in groups trying to detect the fake booby-traps, which included everything from homemade explosives to a trip-wire rifle. After going through the house, members of the Montgomery County Bomb Squad reviewed the booby-traps and offered tips for detecting and disarming when in the field.
