Counseling student Marc Damario ’18M was lauded by the Community Behavioral Health of Philadelphia and the Beck Community Initiative on July 14 for earning this year’s highest score on the Cognitive Therapy Rating Scale (CTRS) in Philadelphia. He is the first Arcadia student in the program’s history to receive this recognition.

Damario completed an intensive six-month training in cognitive behavior therapy. As part of this training, Damario submitted 15 recorded therapy sessions, which were scored by an expert rater via the CTRS. The CTRS ranks both professional and student pursuing cognitive behavioral therapist certification.
