Painting major Molly Foster ’19 was awarded a $1,000 grant from Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society, which will enable her to study abroad at Accademia University in Florence, Italy.

Foster is one of 25 recipients of the Study Abroad Grant nationwide. The selection process is based on academic achievement, campus and community service, relation of travel to academic preparation and career goals, a personal essay, letters of recommendation, and acceptance into a study abroad program.

Established in 1897, Phi Kappa Phi is the nation’s oldest collegiate honor society for all academic disciplines. The Study Abroad Grant Program has awarded more than $800,000 to undergraduate students since its inception in 2001.
