Career Education Hosts Spring 2018 Events for Students

The Office of Career Education (OCE) will host several networking events throughout the spring semester. Students should pre-register for all OCE events through Handshake.

Wednesday, Jan. 31

Commons Meeting Rooms 1-2, 6 to 8 p.m.

Learn about OCE’s Alumni Career Mentor program, the benefits of mentorship, and how to sign up for the program from students and alumni who have had successful matches.

Mexican salad bar from Qdoba will be provided. Pre-register through Handshake by Jan. 29.

Tuesday, Feb. 13

Great Room, 5 p.m.

Explore jobs, internships, organizations, and opportunities in the nonprofit, social services, and government fields during a speed-networking reception. Victoria Crispo from Idealist.org will present “Relationship Building in the Non-Profit Sector.”

Monday, March 5

Grey Towers Castle Rose and Mirror Rooms, 4:30 to 6:30 p.m.

Learn more about health care careers beyond medical doctors and physical therapists during this interactive workshop.

Pre-register by March 1.

Wednesday, March 28

Kuch Athletic and Recreation Center Gymnasium, 1 to 4 p.m.

Students are invited to connect with representatives from more than 100 organizations, industries, and graduate programs at Arcadia’s largest on-campus recruiting event. Professional attire is highly recommended, and participants are encouraged to take their headshot at the LinkedIn Photo Booth, sponsored by Ditech. Register.
