The 31st annual Pennsylvania State Education Association (PSEA) juried exhibition, featuring submissions from 26 high schools in Bucks and Montgomery counties, will be on display in Arcadia’s Harrison and Rosedale galleries through Thursday, March 15.

Sponsored by PSEA’s Mideastern Region and the Council for the Advancement of Public Schools, “Touch the Future” highlights exceptional drawings, paintings, prints, photography, sculpture, mixed media, digital images, fiber crafts, and jewelry created by local high school students. The exhibition pays tribute to Christa McAuliffe, NASA’s Teacher in Space aboard the Space Shuttle Challenger, who was quoted saying, “I touch the future. I teach.”

The exhibition kicked off its three-week run with a reception and awards ceremony on Sunday, Feb. 25. Several winners, selected by Tamryn McDermott, director of admissions at Temple University’s Tyler School of Art, sold their artwork for permanent display in regional offices.

“Touch the Future” is free and open to the public Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday, noon to 4 p.m.
