Rachel Park ’21 was featured in her hometown paper, the Couer d’ Alene Press in Idaho, in a Jan. 18 article for her internship fighting global poverty with The Borgen Project, a nonprofit dedicated to ending world hunger.

At her internship, Park uses her knowledge of international studies to develop small lobbying efforts in order to help campaigns that address global poverty and hunger. Since starting her internship, she has met with the office of U.S. Representative Brendan Boyle (PA) to discuss his vote for acts that will help those with little food around the world.
