On April 4, Arcadia’s Actuarial Science program hosted an Employer Career Panel with representatives from local actuarial firms. The event allowed students to ask questions about the field and explore potential careers.

“A career fair happens every fall for Actuarial Science majors, but we wanted to invite employers in the spring to talk about companies and answer questions,” said Assistant Professor of Computer Science and Mathematics Irina Pogrebivsky.

AON, Long Term Care Group, Willis Towers Watson, Lincoln Financial Group, and Transamerica were among the firms represented. In addition to offering career guidance, panelists explained the roles and responsibilities of interns and full-time hires at their respective organizations.
