The offices of Career Education (OCE) and Social Impact and Innovation (SI²) are teaming up to host Arcadia’s first Social Impact Careers Lunch ‘N’ Learn to encourage students to align their values with their careers.

The event’s guest speaker, Julien Franklin—a philanthropic development consultant at Vanguard Charitable—will share how his interest in corporate social responsibility and nonprofit impact guided his job search. Vanguard Charitable, which helps philanthropists grow their assets and plan major gifts, is closely aligned with the Vanguard Group, an investment adviser that recruits Arcadia students from all majors for internships and job placements. 

The lunch and learn will be held Friday, Nov. 8, from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. in the Stein Fireplace Lounge.
