Transferring to a new university can be challenging. That’s why, to help transfer students connect with others who share their new school experiences, Enrollment Management is hosting a Transfer Pop-In event on Thursday, Oct. 24 in Stein Fireplace Lounge from 3 to 5 p.m.

At the event, which is being held as part of National Transfer Student Week, students can enjoy food, giveaways, and contribute their story to the #JourneytoKnight collection, a community campaign that encourages transfer students to share their journeys to the University, which will be shared in the Commons to showcase the unique stories of members of the Arcadia community.

At Arcadia, transfer students comprise about 15 percent of the student body, and new transfer students sometimes struggle to find each other at the University, said Darien Ryan, transfer admissions counselor at Arcadia.

The University strives to make the transfer process as smooth and seamless as possible for new transfer students through the personalized attention that is a cornerstone of the Arcadia Promise. Transfer students receive one-on-one attention and support throughout the admissions process from the application phase to the time they enroll.
