Oct. 1: Documentary Screening of Vincent Who? Featuring Panel Discussion with Producer

On Friday, Oct. 1, Arcadia will host a screening of the documentary Vincent Who?, which details the 1982 murder of Chinese-American Vincent Chin by two white auto workers in an early act of anti-Asian violence.  

The screening for the 40-minute documentary will be held from 4 to 6 p.m in the Castle Dining Room. Following the documentary will be a panel discussion with the film’s producer, Curtis Chin, and Arcadia faculty Dr. Shekhar Deshpande (professor of Media and Communications), Dr. Katherine Moore (associate professor of Psychology), Prash Naidu (assistant professor of Historical and Political Studies). The discussion will focus on the documentary’s exploration of crime, injustices, and continuing repercussions.
