SAJE Fellows

On Friday, Sept. 24, the Social Action and Justice Education (SAJE) Fellowship came together in a “Get to Know Me” event, where SAJE fellows gathered over an ice cream sundae bar in Stein Fireplace Lounge. This is the first social event of the semester, of which SAJE plans to host monthly.

Through programming, mentorship, and leadership opportunities, Arcadia’s SAJE program is addressing the nationwide lack of diversity and cultural competency in the teaching profession. The fellowship program works to expand dual enrollment and increase pathways for students of color. Each SAJE fellow will earn a bachelor’s degree aligned with Arcadia’s Secondary Education track, leading to certification in Biology, Chemistry, English, General Science, Mathematics, or Social Studies.
