Campus Visit Grant

The Arcadia University Campus Visit Grant helps defray the costs of a Glenside campus visit for prospective undergraduate students and families from a distance of 250 miles or more (500 miles or more round-trip). We know the importance of a campus visit in the college search, and we understand the challenges associated with the costs of traveling from a distance.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Available to new incoming freshmen and transfer students who enroll as full-time undergraduate students at Arcadia University.
  • The enrolled student must have attended an Arcadia Undergraduate Admissions program and must live at least 250 miles (one-way) from the Glenside campus.
  • Eligible expenses include economy travel by train, plane, bus and car (mileage calculated via Google Maps) at the current University reimbursement rate and one standard hotel room for one night.
  • The maximum reimbursement for which a student is eligible is $500. It is a one time, nonrenewable grant.
  • Submission of original, itemized receipts along with the Campus Visit Grant application are required to be considered for the Grant.
  • The reduction applies for one visit, to the enrolled student expenses, and must be completed by the appropriate deadline.
  • Students who receive full-tuition scholarships are not eligible for the Grant.

Eligibility Deadlines

  • New freshmen enrolling in the Fall term: campus visit completed prior to June 1 and completed application due by September 1
  • Transfer students enrolling in the Fall term: campus visit completeted prior to August 1 and completed application due by September 1
  • New freshmen and transfers enrolling in the Spring term: campus visit completed prior to December 15  and completed application due by February 1
