Innovate to Thrive Challenge

The Innovate to Thrive Challenge is a pilot project geared toward bringing the community together as we face the unprecedented challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic. We invite you to demonstrate your entrepreneurial spirit by sharing ideas and solutions for the 2020-21 academic year. University leadership is considering running the Challenge routinely as this situation develops.

The Prompt: 
Propose an innovation that can help Arcadia thrive during the COVID-19 disruption.


Who Can Enter:

The Challenge is open to Arcadia's current and potential students, staff, faculty, or alumni.

Proposals may be made individually
or together in teams of up to four people.

How to Enter and the Review Process:

  1. Complete the form to submit your idea.
  2. Describe your proposal in 750 words or less.
  3. Proposals are due by June 12.
  4. The review panel will be led by the Office of Social Impact and Innovation.
  5. The finalists will be invited to a community “Pitch Day." (Date to be announced.)

Deadline: Submit by June 12

The winners will receive support to bring their ideas to fruition. All finalists invited to Pitch Day will receive feedback from the panel, be recognized across University platforms, and highlighted in the #ArcadiaStrong social media campaign.
