I originally chose to study abroad through Arcadia because it has a reputation at Duke as being one of the better programs. I heard so many good things from my friends who had studied with Arcadia in the past. But I specifically chose the Granada program for the smaller city, to help improve my Spanish, and to experience the traditional Spanish lifestyle.
What surprised me most about the Arcadia program was how much they push us to have an immersive experience. The activities they offer, like flamenco shows and tapas classes, have really made me feel like a true Granadina during my semester here.”
