J: I've become a lot more involved in extracurricular activities outside of playing volleyball, including through Knight Club, Puro Ritmo, American Chemical Society, Computer Science Club, and by being an Orientation Leader. I’ve grown not only socially, but also mentally.
J: I do tend to stay pretty involved around campus. I think I can fit it all into my schedule through having really good time management, having a planner, and spacing out all of my activities to give me enough time to get from one to another. It is pretty hard being a student-athlete, being involved in so many clubs, and getting a good education on top of that, but you find a way to make it work without a lot of sleep!
J: I believe it stems from my parents and their ability to push me to do my best. They’ve convinced me that I can achieve more than what I think is possible. Additionally, I feel I have a really strong internal drive to do things and to succeed.
J: I feel that my most memorable Arcadian experience thus far would probably be going on Preview. That was something that I would never have seen myself being able to do on my own. I got to go to Oman, and I wouldn’t give that experience up for anything. It was really amazing. I got to meet new people and make friends.
This year, I am going to Peru to further explore the world. It’s a privilege that Arcadia has given me. I am really excited to embark on this new experience.
