Celebrating the Grey Towers Castle Birthday: 120 Years of History through Artifacts

Curated by Samantha Hipe, Class of 2018, this exhibition explores the legacy of Grey Towers Castle, built as a private residence for the William Welsh Harrison family, now Arcadia's beloved flagship building. By telling the story of the Castle through artifacts—many of which were discovered during archaeological digs conducted by the student group Society for Castle Restoration—the exhibition allows viewers to gain an appreciation for Castle life through the objects that shaped it.

*On view on the first and lower levels of Landman Library; facilitated by University Archives and Special Collections.
