Annual ALANA (African American, Latino, Asian, Native American) & International Students Recognition Ceremony

Saturday, May 11, 2019 - 1:00pm to 6:00pm

The annual ALANA & International Student Recognition Ceremony is one in which Arcadia University recognizes and celebrates its graduates of African, Latino, Asian, Native American descent and those of International status and their journeys toward earning their college degree (both at the undergraduate and graduate levels). Such recognition is of utmost importance for ALANA and International students, especially at predominantly and historically white institutions where their names and faces may often go unnoticed, and their stories and histories may go untold. Student participation in this ceremony is optional and each is presented with a stole representattive of their nationality or racial or ethnic heritage" - Judith Dalton, Associate Dean of Institutional Diversity
