An Evening at the Philadelphia Museum of Art: The Impressionist's Eye

Join the Arcadia University Alumni Association to kick off summer! Brush up on the Impressionist masters over wine, artisanal cheeses, and hors d'oeuvres and catch up with old friends at the iconic Philadelphia Museum of Art. Dr. Elizabeth Ferrell, assistant professor of Art History, will provide a riveting after-hours discussion of the art of Claude Monet, Mary Cassatt, Vincent van Gogh, and others, and then you'll have the chance see the masterpieces for yourself. 

  • 5:30-6:30 p.m. Come early and explore the museum! A representative from the Office of Alumni Relations will be available to check you in early for museum exploration if you'd like to have more time in the exhibits.
  • 6:30-7:30 Cocktail hour
  • 6:45-7:15 p.m. Faculty Presentation by Dr. Elizabeth Ferrell, assistant professor of Art History
  • 7:30-8:45 p.m. Guests are free to explore the museum at their leisure, including "The Impressionist's Eye" exhibit, until the museum closes.

Registration is $10 for alumni and guests and includes museum admission, reception, and parking.
