Casino Royale

The Black Alumni Association of Arcadia University (BAAAU) cordially invites all alumni, faculty, staff, and friends of the University to its inaugural Casino Royale, a fundraiser for the BAAAU Travel Program.

Roll the dice and hedge your bets over casino games and enjoy hearty hors d'oeuvres in the historic Grey Towers Castle, most recently featured in the film Creed II. You won't want to miss this fun and festive event for an incredible cause! Highlights of the event include a night of casino play, a photo booth, and raffle prizes from local and nationally-known businesses.

The BAAAU Travel Program provides scholarship opportunities for Black students at Arcadia to participate in Preview, a one-of-a-kind seminar course with a study-abroad component. The scholarship covers student fees, including a stipend for spending money. In its first year, the scholarship was offered to ten students and the BAAAU has set a goal to send 20 students in 2020 in their #20for2020 campaign.

Early Bird Special: $50 per person if you sign up by April 30, 2019.

$60 per person if you sign up from May 1 through May 29, 2019.

  • Fee includes casino chips for game play, hors d'oeuvres, beer, and, wine.
  • Guests must be 21 years of age or older to attend.
  • Additional chips will be available for purchase for cash or credit for additional game play at the event.
  • Event proceeds benefit the Black Alumni Association Travel Program at Arcadia University.   
  • Chips may be cashed in at the end of the evening for raffle tickets to be entered into drawings for a number of fabulous prizes (to be announced soon)!
  • Dress Code: Cocktail attire, with a Roaring '20s twist.
