Join us for three different discussions around Black Maternal Health. This event is co-sponsored by the Oshun Family Center and Arcadia's Graduate Program in Counseling in the Department of Psychology.
Monday, April 12 @ 1pm: The Power of Knowledge: Legislative/policy updates at the city, state and federal levels related to the health and well-being of Black birthing people.
Moderated by Saleemah McNeil with speakers: Michael Morror, La'Tasha Mayes, Dr. Irene Headen, Gabrielle Nelson, and State Representative Morgan Cephas.

Tuesday, April 13 @ 3pm: Body Sovereignty & Liberation: The Black Birthing experience, reflections, lessons and resources from a year in a global pandemic.
