PubMed Go-to resource for many health science professionals. Paid for by tax dollars rather than tuition, it’s one that will be accessible after completion of the program at AU. An excellent place to conduct health science literature searching.
Biomedical Reference Collection* Contains over 4,000 full-text journals covering a variety of disciplines ranging from biomedicine and health sciences to the health care system and pre-clinical sciences.
Health Source: Nursing/Academic Edition* Over 350 journals on nursing and allied health literature.
Academic Search Ultimate* A large, academically multidisciplinary article database that is a very good place to start a scholarly literature search.
Web of Science: Science Citation Index* The premier database for literature searches in many fields. Includes citations and abstractions from tens of thousands journals.
WorldCat A huge database of books and other materials found in libraries across the U.S. and worldwide that you can borrow using Interlibrary Loan.

While it's helpful to know individual titles, the most effective way to search for articles is to use article databases like those listed above.
