Neafsey Receives 2010 Senior Golden Disc Award

At Reunion on Friday, June 4, Stephen A. Neafsey ’10 was presented with the Senior Golden Disc Award for demonstrating a lasting commitment and dedication to Arcadia University and inspiring the admiration of his classmates.

The Senior Golden Disc Award is presented to a member of the senior class, who in the opinion of his/her classmates, faculty, administration, and the Alumni Association Awards and Honors Committee, exemplifies the highest standards of leadership in activities that enhance the quality of student life and promote the present and future welfare of the University.

A major in Fine Arts and Painting with Education Certification, Neafsey participated in many campus activities including a member of the Executive Board Arcadia’s Resident’s Hall Council, Campus Life staff, Resident Assistant, and he is a four-year varsity letter-winner on the men’s swim team and team captain his senior year and was recently named the 2010 Middle Atlantic Conferences (MAC) Men’s Swimming Scholar-Athlete of the Year. Neafsey studied abroad in Italy in the Spring of 2009.
