The Class of 2014—the third-largest entering first-year class in the history of the University with 555 freshmen—along with a robust 135 transfer students packed Stiteler Auditorium on Tuesday, Aug. 31, for the traditional new student Convocation ceremony. (See additional story on the 26 freshmen who departed Monday for the First Year Study Abroad Experience.)

The new students began the evening by filling the courtyard of Murphy Hall and having a group photo taken by Orientation Leader Pedro Leal ’13. Find these photos and more of the new class at the Class of 2014 Facebook group.
