On Dec.15, goalkeeper Jackie Law ’13 was named to the 2010 Performance Subaru Women’s NCAA Division III All-America Team by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA). This is the first NSCAA All-American honor for Arcadia’s Women’s Soccer program. Of the 41 players recognized, Law is just one of five sophomores.

Nominations are sought in October for the All-Region selection process, carried out by ballot at the end of the regular season. The selections are based on the various levels of play that the school has selected for that season. Just last week, Law was named to her second straight NSCAA Mid-Atlantic Region team, jumping to the first team after a third team selection in 2009 as a first year.

The players will be honored at the annual All-America Luncheon, to be held at the Hilton Baltimore Hotel on Saturday, Jan. 15, as part of the 2011 NSCAA Convention. Law joins Thomas DeGeorge ’04 as one of two Arcadia soccer student-athletes to earn this honor. DeGeorge was named NSCAA All-American 3rd Team in 2001 and 2nd Team in 2002.
