Ferrara Named Morrisville Superintendent

July 15, 2011

William Ferrara, who earned a Superintendent Letter from Arcadia University in 2010, was recently elected as the Superintendent of Morrisville School District, as noted in The (Trenton, N.J.) Trentonian on July 6.

The school board voted unanimously on Wednesday night (June 29) to hire acting superintendent Bill Ferrara as the district's full-time superintendent of schools.

"We made Mr. Ferrara the permanent superintendent because he and his staff have done a good job over the past year educating our children, but at a cost our town can afford in these tough economic times," Board President Bill Hellmann told the Yardley News.

Ferrara has served as the district's acting superintendent since Sept. 2010.

In 2006, he was hired as assistant principal and was later promoted to principal of Morrisville Middle/Senior High School in August 2008.
