The National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) announced its annual College Team Academic Award for 2011. For the second straight year, Arcadia University's men's and women's soccer teams have earned this outstanding academic honor.
A total of 789 soccer teams (218 men, 571 women) posted a team GPA of 3.0 or higher, thereby earning the NSCAA Team Academic Award for the 2010-11 academic year. Of that total, Arcadia was one of 157 schools that had both its men's and women's programs recognized.
Arcadia's women's squad achieved a 3.31 cumulative GPA while the men's squad achieved a GPA of 3.19.
