Arcadia Hosts Peace Conference, March 23-24

February 24, 2012 blogger Amanda Tiradentes announced she will present a poster, "The Power of ICT: Peace Building around the Globe" at Arcadia's University's Engaging Peace Conference, which will take place March 23-24. (Read more.)

Held in collaboration with Arcadia's International Peace and Conflict Resolution (IPCR) program and the Peace Center, the student-run conference fosters an interdisciplinary forum for connecting academics, students and practitioners through a dialectic learning and mentoring environment. The conference will consist of student research presentations, workshops, speakers and practitioner sessions. The theme of this conference, "Engaging Peace," is designed to showcase and celebrate a broad spectrum of innovative approaches and ideas in peacebuilding and conflict resolution, both domestically and abroad.
