The College of Global Studies at Arcadia University announced the opening of its newest center space for the Center for Italian Studies on the campus of Università degli Studi Roma Tre, one of Rome’s most dynamic universities and a close partner institution of Arcadia University.

The Chancellor of Università degli Studi Roma Tre, Rettore Guido Fabiani, attended the celebration on Feb. 29, along with Dr. Nicolette Christensen, Vice President of  Arcadia University for The College of Global Studies. They were hosted by AU Resident Director Tina Rocchio and many faculty, staff, students and members of the local community.

Christensen welcomed the deepening of the important relationship between Arcadia University and Roma Tre, saying, “To have an American institution and an Italian institution come together and forge this partnership and create a space, an ideology and an ethos in an area where we can importune our scholars, our teachers, our researchers and our students to come together and learn in a new way is really spectacular.” Rettore Fabiani will receive an Honorary Doctorate from Arcadia University in Glenside, Pa., at the Graduate Commencement Ceremony in May 17. Read the entire article.
