Ocean City Sentinel (Ocean City, N.J.) reported on June 13 that two Ocean City High School athletes who will be moving onto Arcadia University in the fall.
Derrick Brewer will be playing soccer for Arcadia University in Philadelphia.
"They have a great soccer program and the (physical therapy) major I was looking for," Brewer said. "It's a beautiful campus and it is close to home.
Steve Zellers will be taking two of his sporting skills to the collegiate level. Zellers was a varsity starter in soccer and baseball at OCHS. He'll be playing both at Arcadia University.
"It's a good academic school and the campus is pretty nice," Zellers said about Arcadia. "One of the main reasons I picked Arcadia is because I could play two sports. At a bigger college, I could only play one. Arcadia said I could play two so I decided to go there."
