School of Continuing Studies in the Hatboro-Horsham Patch

Arcadia University's School of Continuing Studies is featured in the June 27 edition of the Hatboro-Horsham Patch regarding the development of a continuing and professional education partnership with the Greater Hatboro Chamber of Commerce.

The article touches on the focus group phase of discovery between Arcadia and the Chamber’s members and community residents as part of an educational needs assessment. Results from the focus group process is expected to better identify the direction that will be taken to develop possible credit and non-credit programs for Hatboro residents, non-profits, and business owners.

Lorraine Brandenburger, Director of Business Initiatives, is quoted in the article. “Success in this first phase can definitely lead to future discussions of growth in the future,” Brandenburger said. “But it's important to make sure the first phase is beneficial to the Hatboro business and residential community—that we understand and embrace their needs and deliver upon them.
