Hatboro-Horsham Patch: School of Continuing Studies Assesses Needs of Community Residents
August 15, 2012
Hatboro-Horsham Patch recently reported on a 14-question survey given by Arcadia University's School of Continuing Studies assessing the needs of residents and business members in Hatboro.
Arcadia University’s Dean of Continuing Studies, Erik Nelson, said last month that it was the school’s intention to launch offerings in Hatboro this fall “with the goal of releasing and offering additional programs in the months ahead.”
That announcement followed a focus group meeting in June between Arcadia officials and 45 individuals representing Hatboro’s businesses, residents and charities, to determine how a continuing education program that would be tailored to the needs of Chamber members could be established in Hatboro.
Neenan told Patch that "fall is still the plan" for the beginning of its offerings in Hatboro.
"If there is any delay—which at this point there does not appear to be—courses would be offered in 'Fall 2,' which is traditionally a mid-October start," Neenan said.
