Arcadia University field hockey player Lynn Beatty ’12 was named to the Philadelphia Inquirer All-Area Academic Team by the Philadelphia Sports Information Directors Association on Dec. 11. To be eligible a student-athlete of sophomore standing or higher must have a GPA of 3.2 or higher.
Beatty, a Chemistry major who was recently accepted into Arcadia’s Physician Assistant program, has a GPA of 3.9 and led the Knights to a 15-6 record and a Commonwealth Conference playoff victory. She recorded 22 goals and 17 assists for 61 points on the season.
