Students in the Health Administration program were recognized with a Team Participation Award for having the most members in the Corporate category at the 21st Annual 2012 Lupus Loop, a 5K run and 2.5 mile walk to benefit the Lupus Foundation of America, the largest national non-profit voluntary health organization dedicated to finding the causes of and cure for lupus and providing support, services and hope to all people affected by lupus. The student members, recognized as the “Arcadia University Healthcare Leaders,” participated in the October 2012 event in Philadelphia and were awarded a plaque from the Lupus Foundation of America in January 2013 for their support in the fight against lupus.
