Redmond Reporter: Smith ’13DPT Graduates with Distinction

Redmond Reporter.com reported on March 4 that Megan Augusta Smith was among 83 graduates who earned a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Arcadia University. She graduated with distinction.
As part of a required Capstone project that focuses on the evidence-based practice of physical therapy, Smith presented a platform presentation on:“Movement Strategies and Motor Control in the Sit-to-Stand Task in Persons with Parkinson Disease.”
Smith also was the recipient of the Eugene Michels Award in recognition of outstanding critical reasoning process used throughout the physical therapy curriculum, and also fulfilled Arcadia’s promise of a global perspective experience through study abroad in Jamaica.
