Mazzanti Named President of Council of Forensic Science Educators

At the annual American Academy of Forensic Sciences meeting in Washington D.C., the Council of Forensic Science Educators (COFSE) announced Heather Mazzanti, Assistant Director and Assistant Professor of Forensic Science at Arcadia University, to be its new president.

As the president-elect Mazzanti has in recent months been injecting a new enthusiasm into COFSE by encouraging a website update, promoting membership and organizing an information session on grant funding opportunities for Forensic Science education programs. Her term as president will hopefully bring increased awareness of COFSE to the Forensic Science community at large and to schools, colleges and universities offering Forensic Science education.
