On Dec. 10, the Lehigh Valley newspaper The Express-Times published its monthly collegiate sports round-up, “College Notebook,” headlining with the achievements of Arcadia women’s soccer player Lennon Kramer ’17.
“College Notebook: Lennon Kramer reaps multiple women’s soccer awards at Arcadia University” opened with praise for the former Nazareth Area High School standout who is now making history for Arcadia women’s soccer: Kramer, a midfielder, is the first-ever Knight to be named Middle Atlantic Commonwealth Conference (MAC) Rookie of the Year since the Knights joined the conference in 2008. Starting 14 of her 19 regular season games, Kramer was ranked in the top-five in the conference in both goals and points and was named a first-team selection to the MAC All-Conference Team.
During the postseason, she also scored a team-high 17 goals along with four assists to propel the Knights from seventh seed to their first-ever Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Division III South championship.
