On Feb. 10, Constance Teage ’14M published “Liberia’s Youth Unemployment Program” in The Bush Chicken, a website covering the country’s current events. Teage, a graduate of Arcadia’s International Peace and Conflict Resolution program, writes on the four months she spent studying youth development in Monrovia, the nation’s capital.

In post-conflict Liberia, youth employment is extremely vital to the economic and social development of the nation. It is important that the youth be working, starting businesses, and gaining the skills and education required to participate in this era of post-conflict reconstruction.
