On Feb. 6, Arcadia University President Nicolette DeVille Christensen and President Geun-young Lee of Korea’s Daejin University signed an appendix agreement to a Memorandum of Understanding in Grey Towers Castle. The appendix will allow groups of Daejin University students to come to Arcadia for a semester, beginning in fall 2015 to study English and to take a special course on American Studies through Arcadia’s English Language Institute (ELI). Currently, Korean students comprise about a third of ELI’s enrollment. This is the sixth Korean university with which Arcadia has an official agreement. After the signing, Dean of International Affairs Warren Haffar and Associate Dean for International Affairs Jan Finn led the Korean delegation on a brief tour of campus and the ELI.
