Poorman ’92M Awarded for Service to Limb Loss Community

Cindy Poorman ’92M received The Amputee Coalition’s Burgess Award, reports Healio.com, a medical news outlet. Recipients of the award, which recognizes professionals serving the limb loss community, were announced at the 2015 Amputee Coalition National Conference in July.

Poorman is a rehabilitation planning specialist and amputation program manager for the Department of Veterans Affairs National Rehabilitation Program Office in Denver, Col. She received her Master of Science in Physical Therapy from Arcadia, then Beaver College.
